I had a fantastic time speaking to @rizq_comms on this episode about halal investing.
This is an area of finance I know very little about, so it was awesome to speak to Uneesa about the ins and outs of halal investing and how it differs to non-halal investing.
A big thank you to Uneesa also for making the time to speak with us during Ramadan when she has of course been fasting all day.

On this episode of the Show I spoke to @lookingafteryourpennies about social media scams ?
Both Charlotte and I have had our Instagram pages duplicated many times over the past year, and we know many more content creators who have been affected by this.
In this episode we talk about how to recognise a social media scam, what to do if you fall victim to one and small changes we think platforms can make to help make social media a bit safer ..read more

Today's episode had some technical difficulties during the live, so we jump right in where Olugbenga was able to join us!
I enjoyed this chat with @bslfinancialservice. We talked about some of the lesser know routes into property ownership for first time buyers, including buying with your friends(!), how to save for a deposit, and considering moving outside of London to buy your first home.
A big thank you to Olugbenga for coming on the Show today and for being the first guest to drop some Yoruba on our listeners in the interview!

There is a Steve Jobs quote which goes something like "Focus is saying no to 1,000 things". And so we spoke about cutting out the noise, automation, social accountability and the importance of regularly reviewing your goals.
We were also treating to a cameo from Kathy's little one mid-episode, making him the youngest ever guest on the Mr MoneyJar Show!

My chat with @frugal_spender turned out to be one of my most expectedly interesting conversations ?
We talked about Brian's upbringing in post-aparteid South Africa and his moving to the UK aged 14.
We also spoke about his previous job as a police officer and the pressure he faced when on the force, due to the sometimes negative perception of police officers.
This was a different sort of chat but I really enjoyed it.
