A man wanted out of Harrisburg for a shooting was taken into custody in our region. U.S. marshals arrested 47-year-old Shawn Jason near Philadelphia International Airport. A man was killed and two others -- including a teenager -- were hurt in a triple shooting in Kensington. Police say it happened a little after 5 p.m. Wednesday, not far from Kensington Avenue. They say three people, ages 22, 34 and 16, were all shot and taken to the hospital. The 22-year-old man was pronounced dead. The other two are expected to recover, per officials. Multiple people were killed when a car being chased by Pennsylvania State Police crashed in Delaware County. It happened near Route 322 and Chichester Avenue in Boothwyn around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Troopers have not confirmed what prompted the chase, but authorities on police radio said they were in pursuit of a red Ford Taurus with tinted windows “for a theft on Lululemon.” The dispatcher said the driver was “doing about 110 mph.” Police said the driver did not yield to emergency lights and siren, so a pursuit began. A group of students at Swarthmore College are camping out in the middle of campus as part of a pro-Palestinian protest like the ones that have taken over Columbia, Yale and other schools around the country. The students are demanding that Swarthmore cut any financial ties with Israel and divest from businesses aiding in the war between Israel and Hamas. A sobering new report on the air that we breathe: Nearly 2 in 5 Americans live with unhealthy levels of air pollution, and the U.S. saw a record number of days between 2020 and 2022 with very unhealthy or hazardous air. That's according to a new report from the American Lung Association.  It also found that climate change, which is fueling wildfires, drought and dust storms, is not only worsening air quality, but also making pollution increasingly difficult to address. Experts say it's erasing gains made through the Clean Air Act.
