The news comes shortly after rival Hertz dropped a bombshell revealing it will sell approximately 20,000 EVs and switch to combustion-powered vehicles instead. Sixt has not made any bold proclamations about how many EVs it will buy from Stellantis, simply confirming that it will purchase a “full range of propulsion types, including battery-electric vehicles.”

Anyone based in Europe and looking for an electric compact crossover next year will have a stack more options open to them than they did the last time they went shopping. That last SUV, a successor to today’s Opel (Vauxhall for those in the UK) Grandland is seen here for the first time, undergoing tests ahead of a market launch in 2024. And while we don’t know whether Opel will retain the Grandland name, we do know that it will be built off the new Ste ..read more

Rather than stretching it out over a period of weeks or months, Stellantis has decided to just reveal 12 new delivery vans today. The zero emissions vans are all based on the automaker’s second-generation electric or hydrogen fuel cell platform, and will be sold by Citroen, Fiat Professional, Opel, Peugeot, and Vauxhall.
The new vehicles are a part of Stellantis’ Pro One offensive, which seeks to make its electric commercial vehicles the leaders in Europe. For this second-generation of zero-emissions vans, it is using in-house batteries for the electric vehicles that offer longer ranges.
