A Beautiful Mess
by Emma Chapman

I’m spending the weekend in Kansas City, MO with my book club friends. We are likely eating lots of delicious food, shopping and making each other laugh. I love my life now and I am looking forward to what the rest of this year will bring too. It’s going to be different but good ..read more

A Beautiful Mess

The Harvey Wallbanger is a classic cocktail, perfect for brunch. It’s a spin off the Screwdriver with the addition of Galliano (an Italian liqueur). This cocktail was created by bartender Donato “Duke” Antone, who owned Duke’s Blackwatch Bar in Hollywood in the 1950s. It was at this Sunset Boulevard location in 1952 that Antone created the recipe.  It rose in popularity in the 1970s when marketing director George Bednar created a campaign that made this cocktail a household name. His surfer-themed ad had the tagline, “Harvey Wallbanger is the n ..read more

Tuna Casserole
A Beautiful Mess
by Emma Chapman
6d ago
At our house growing up, tuna casserole was also sometimes called “tuna noodle casserole” or even “tuna surprise.” It was a dinner my dad would make, as he was also the tuna salad sandwich king at our house. This tuna casserole recipe is pure comfort—an easy to make and filling, cheesy casserole with all familiar ingredients is very much what my Midwest sensibilities think of as comfort food. Pair this tuna casserole with a salad or vegetable side and you’ve got a pretty balanced, delicious meal going! Related: Love casseroles as much as me? Next up, try tater tot casserole, biscuits and gravy ..read more

Hi friends! I hope you have had a nice weekend so far. I’m planning to spend today in my painting studio and make art with my kids. Also, I’m feeling in the mood to make cookies on this three-day weekend. 10 Things I Am Loving This Week 1. I’m currently reading Under the Whispering Door by TJ KIune and I love it SO much.
