Hello peeps! I'm gonna continue on the contact lens review roll for a while longer as I still have some backlog to chew through. Today I'm going to review the ColourVue Phantasee Blue Spin, a special effects colored contact lens for fun occasions and parties. Base curve: 8.6 mm Diameter: 14.0 mm Water content: 45% Life span: 1 year (I recommend 6 months) These are quite a fun-looking lens with a stylized swirly pattern, makes me think of car tires or like ninja throwing stars or something lol. It's quite unique and the color opacity looks great when viewed in the vials. There's onl ..read more

[Sponsored] Lens review: Chromaview Blackout

Hello everyone!  Today I will be reviewing another pair of colored contact lenses that Coloured Contacts sent me for review purposes! This is more akin to a special effects lens and yes, it's the Chromaview Blackout. As the name suggests it's very much a black lens and I was curious to try these bad boys out as there's not a lot of black lenses out in the market today.     The lenses that I'm reviewing in this blog post were sponsored by Coloured Contacts, meaning that I did not pay for the product(s) myself. This does, however, not affect my honesty in any way. The words and ..read more

Hello everyone! Another year is drawing to a close and I just sit here and wonder where it went, you know? We're still not free from covid and it sucks, but what sucks even more is the current global situation in many ways. It's no wonder my mental health has been a rollercoaster of mostly lows and I haven't had a lot of inspiration nor energy to cosplay or blog much, as can be seen from how this year has been the quietest to date. But of course this year is not all shit as some great things have happened too! But anyways, as is tradition I have to continue this end-of-year post althou ..read more

Hello nerds! I was away at my first convention for the year this past weekend and well, what started as simple plans to go as visitors to Kummacon with a group of friends ended up being a lot more chaotic than that. :D So I'm gonna tell you all about my Kummacon experience but first some base info about the con itself – Kummacon is a free entrance, small-ish convention held in Oulu that is dedicated to literature and popular culture. This year it was held in Tuira's school (Tuiran koulu) during 29-30.10.2022. Let's go~ Kummacon main entrance (school's courtyard). So as I sai ..read more

Hello beans! I'm doing another circle lens today for y'all and, although I'm not sure if this lens brand is really Kazzue under a different label (rebranding is a common practice with circle lenses) or not, but aaaaanyways the design is exactly the same so let's roll with that for now. I mean, the website on the label doesn't even lead to anything relevant. So today's review is essentially Kazzue Twilight Yellow, let's-a go!   Base curve: 8.6 mm Diameter: 15 mm Water content: 55% Life span: 1 year (I recommend 6 months)   I honestly can't even remember where I purchased ..read more

Hello peeps! It's been a bit quiet over the summer but I was actually away from home, working a summer job! But I'm back now and we'll continue with the same as usual lately, namely circle lens reviews. :) Today I'll feature the I-Codi Funcle F209 crazy lenses, which is like a white and red dragon eye style lens! Let's go!   Base curve: 8.6 mm Diameter: 14.2 mm Water content: 55% Life span: 1 year (I recommend 6 months)   It's been four years since I last did a review on a dragon eye lens so I was quite excited to try one again! Sometimes this style of slit pupil lenses ar ..read more

Hello people! I'm gonna post another circle lens review today and the featured lens will be I.Fairy Persian Green. It's big, it's cute and overall it's a very likable lens I'd say. Keep reading to learn more! Let's-a go!     Base curve: 8.6 mm Diameter: 16.2 mm Water content: 55% Life span: 1 year (I recommend 6 months)   I'm no stranger to I.Fairy's lenses and it's rare a day when I'd be disappointed by their products; I.Fairy is quite a staple brand in the market by now and if you're looking for big and colorful then that's where I would turn my wagon. :) I.Fair ..read more

Hello summer bugs! Today I think it's high time that I share another circle lens review with y'all over on the other side of the screen! I will be reviewing the RevoColour Twinkle Marine Blue, another color of the Twinkle series that sadly seems to have disappeared from the face of the Earth. :( But before we get all gloomy let's get on with the review~ Base curve: 8.6 mm Diameter: 14.5 mm Water content: 45% Life span: 1 year (I recommend 6 months)   I really dig the design of these lenses and honestly am a bit sad that they seem unavailable nowadays. The patterning has these s ..read more

Hello nerds! It's once again time for another circle lens review but this time it's gonna be something a bit different from the usual. I will be reviewing a Funcle lens, which is an animation lens series made by I-Codi. This particular lens is inspired by the style of the well-known Sharingan (lit. Copy Wheel Eye) eyes from the Naruto anime! Review of I-Codi Funcle F105 coming through, let's go! Base curve: 8.6 mm Diameter: 14.2 mm Water content: 55% Life span: 1 year (I recommend 6 months)   This is very obviously a Sharingan styled lens although it's not mentioned in th ..read more

Hello everyone! It's time for another circle lens review and it's gonna be about the RevoColour Twinkle Olive Greens! This is the second RevoColour Twinkle series lens that I'm reviewing, I have a few more colors waiting in line as well. But now let's get on with this one!   Base curve: 8.6 mm Diameter: 14.5 mm Water content: 45% Life span: 1 year (I recommend 6 months)   These lenses stand out a bit from contemporary designs as they look quite different. They have a thick limbal ring but it's not very intense due to the dotted nature of it and how it hinges more towards a ..read more
