I have an Edwards Audio TT1 turntable which is about 10 years old. I am considering how to upgrade and have debated adding a phono stage or upgrading the cartridge. At the moment I am leaning towards replacing it with the Rega Planar 3 Anniversary edition as this comes with a higher specification cartridge and external power source. Hi, I have a 10 year old CD player which has a strange tray opening problem. When I put a CD in, it will seemingly try to read it for a second and then spit the tray back out. If I put in a different CD, the same thing happens, rinse and repeat. If I were to turn it off and return half an hour later, it might all work perfectly. Hi all, As the title suggests in after some advice. I’ve just ordered a pair of R3 Meta (currently have LS50 meta which I do love), fancy a bit more low end without going the sub route.
