Stephen was born at just over 20wk gestation weighing 420g and so falls outside the current threshold for official registration and recognition by the state. Caroline speaks of the ongoing campaign herself and her husband Martin have undertaken to have this outdated law changed so that all babies can be recognised in the eyes of both their families and the state.
