Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock and the club’s CEO Ken Choo met with mourners at Emiliano Sala’s funeral in his hometown of Argentina on Saturday.
The 28-year-old striker’s body was repatriated on Friday before being returned to the public vigil in Progreso, about 350 miles from Buenos Aires.
They arrived in black suits with yellow daffodils pinned to their jackets in homage to Sala.
Warnock and Choo paid their respects during the service in Progreso (AP).
Sala’s mother and father were also present at the vigil.
His body will be cremated at a private service in Santa Fe city on Saturday afte ..read more

Emilio Sala was killed in a plane crash before playing a game for Cardiff City Football Club. However, the FIFA Players ‘Status Committee has decided that Wales-based club Nantes FC will have to pay € 6m as part of the players’ transfer deal.
