First time poodle owner and I have a 6mo puppy that has very hairy ears according to vet (took him there because his ear gunk was very brown and the vet plucked his ears and he got liquid medication). I’ll be taking him to the same vet for his first grooming in about a week and they also do ears.
However a few weeks later he still has very brown ear discharge that replaces itself quickly after I clean it out, which takes forever.
Is this normal? What is your ear care routine for your poodle?

The above, I kept getting told it comes with age but nope. Did lots of desensitization to uneven surface and stuff in the floor, (he had a big fear about that) and tried walking though poles on the ground for paw awareness which did help, but he doesn't seem to care if he steps on people and I'm no longer sure how to teach that at all. I really don't care as much about stuff as it shouldn't be in the floor anyways, but people is an issue with him being big enough to hurt even if I don'tthink he could injure someone. Tail awareness I imagine most dogs don't learn, but also head/body awareness ..read more

Hi all!
My partner and I plan to get a toy poodle in the next year or so. I’ve been doing a lot of research on ethical breeding and have found a couple good options, but it’s hard to find reviews and testimonials. I would love some recommendations based on your experiences getting your pups!
I’m wondering: Where did you get your toy poodle? How was your experience with the breeder? How is your pups temperament and health? What did you pay? Would you recommend them?
Would also love to see pictures of your fur babies!
