The Quebec Ski Areas Association (ASSQ) and its 75 ski resorts have obtained confirmation from Quebec government officials that, as of November 15, the vaccine passport will be required for people 13 years of age and older to use ski lifts and access certain services offered in day lodges. This measure will allow Quebec ski areas to operate ski lifts with full capacity this season. I’m happy to report that wasn’t the case at all! It was our first year of everyone having a family season pass at a ski hill. (we usually got ski school passes which meant we had access on ski school days only). We skied as a family 16 times! ( I did the math!), took advantage of private ..read more

Photo by bantersnaps on Unsplash It’s no surprise that travel looks very different this summer (as it did last summer). With so much having changed and impacted the way we move around in our day to day lives, travel is no exception to this ‘new normal’. I found a report from Expedia.ca that was published during the summer of 2020 which still holds true today. It dives into the emerging trends and behaviours of Canadians as restrictions ease and travellers slowly venture back into the travel space, beginning with exploring the many beautiful parts of our own backyard. Results fro ..read more
