Powder Mountain. | Photo Credit: Powder Mountain
Could the semi-private model at Powder Mountain, Utah, be the future for independent ski resorts? The new CEO of Powder Mountain and principal investor, Reed Hastings, certainly believes so. Report from April 23, 2024

Well, maybe just for my record book.
6 fun runs with clients in the Little Las Lenas zone.
Again, Evan sniffed out good snow which is impressive because it’s tough to find right now.
We did try one run that was too steep with tough snow.
The rest of the runs held great recrystallized Alaskan Velvet that skied well.
It’s not deep, but it’s smooth and very responsive.
You don’t wanna get going too fast, but you can still rip it.
We ended the day on Mission Ridge and we all came home very happy.
I took off all my gear and stri ..read more
