Hello forum,   I am Stage III Head & Neck cancer, Recurrent... I hopped over here onto your forum to ask what types of scenarios can come from Squeaking lung sounds? In June I was admitted for my 5 th ( Fifth) pneumonia, this one Bilateral with a drug resistant bacteria.  Since then, everyone who listens hears lung crackles, but today in Pulmonary/ critical care Medicine Dept, my doctor heard Squeaking in my left lung. I had a CT in Feb. 2021, where a 3mm upper left lung nodule was found. Dr. said repeat scan in 6 months. Had CT in August, and the nodule is now 5mm. Dr. says repeat scan in 6 months. At what point do I see a specialist? Discussion boards:  Lung Cancer ..read more

I was recently in the ER for a BP issue and during the diagnosis I had a chest xray that showed some issues with my left lung.  They did a CT scan and have found several masses in my lower left lung, the largest is 5.7cm, spiculated lung mass with several lympth nodes enlarged in the surrounding area. The lower portion of my left lung is collapsed and I had no idea.  I am 55 years old and was not taking any meds at all and while I'm overweight (but active) and was a smoker (no more!) was in pretty good health! Hello everyone, I have searched some terms and found no on point results, hence my new topic creation here. I have metastisised colon cancer with KRAS G12C mutation and have just started a drug trial with the new targeting drug, Adagrasib (Merati's MRTX849) combined with SHP2 inhibitor TNO155. I have 2 main side effects from I believe the TNO155: water retention, and acne. For the first one I'm researching natural diuretics. My husband is having to start this next week and will be doing this one week with carboplatin and then another two weeks with just Gemzar.  He will have one week off and then start the whole thing again.  In 3 weeks, his tumor markers went up from 2.7 to 3.3.  This was while he was on chemo.  I am concerned because he hasn't had chemo (avastin) in 6 weeks (waiting for test results before starting new treatment) and there is no telling how high they will be now.   My question is this: has anyone on here had this treatment course and how did it work?  How bad ..read more

Hello my name is Jessica and I just lost my mom to cancer. She was 59. They finally found a tumor in her lungs and she was gone 4 days later. I am an only child and my mother was single. I am so lost right now and have never felt more alone.
