Warning for ick factor, but happy ending. What we thought happened: my dad started vomiting at dinner. We were focused on napkins and grabbing a garbage can. I burnt my bicep with the steam from one of those handheld steamers yesterday. I ran it under cool water afterwards and have let it breathe. This morning, I woke up to blisters. My 10 y/o was attacked by the family cat. He got out of the house and when she picked him up, our neighbor happened to let his dogs out at the same time and spooked the cat. The cat bite and clawed my poor girl’s face and ear. She had 5 stitches and her face is quite swollen. We were at the ER until 4am and they gave very vague wound care instructions.
