Warning for ick factor, but happy ending.
What we thought happened: my dad started vomiting at dinner. We were focused on napkins and grabbing a garbage can.
What actually happened: Dad was eating too fast and swallowed too big a bite. He tried to take a drink of milk to wash it down. Milk had nowhere to go, and was coming back up.

I burnt my bicep with the steam from one of those handheld steamers yesterday. I ran it under cool water afterwards and have let it breathe. This morning, I woke up to blisters. I’m terrified I’ll get sepsis or the blister will pop and I will not be able to properly care for it. Do I need to go to an urgent care? I would really like to avoid the emergency room.

My 10 y/o was attacked by the family cat. He got out of the house and when she picked him up, our neighbor happened to let his dogs out at the same time and spooked the cat. The cat bite and clawed my poor girl’s face and ear. She had 5 stitches and her face is quite swollen. We were at the ER until 4am and they gave very vague wound care instructions. What’s the best way to keep her wounds clean and avoid infection? She did receive a tetanus booster and is on a 7 day course of antibiotics.

My injury is 4-5 mm deep on my leg and about 1.7 cm in radius, how long should I expect bleeding for? I walk around frequently and it is still bleeding after I start moving.
