Andy sager I’ve been following your advice. Had some fake leafy ones floating but those mollies still haven’t had babies! Found a really cool fish store not too far from home and got these! I’ll definitely be going back for more live plants but idk why I never thought about floating plants! I’ve had a problem with die off all of a sudden in my guppy fry tank. I haven’t been able to locate the cause. Right now it has 2 pregnant females and probably 20 fry. There was another adult female but she died soon after dropping her fry. She was a bright yellow guppy and after giving birth, she turned almost white, started getting really thin and seemed to always have white poop trailing from her. I got my aquarium for free from a teenage kid. It came with gravel, so I used it. I have had my tank for years, but it never really worked well. My gravel has some weird marbles and glass beads in there. What is the chance there is something unhealthy in the rocks? I don't even know if the rocks are meant for an aquarium. Or, if there was something, would it have leached out over the years? If I do change the rocks, would I have to cycle the tank like a new setup ..read more

So ive been having some plant problems, seems like a lack of nutrients for sure, yellow wilting, no new growth hardly ever. Holes in leaves, all that stuff. im still trying to figure it all out but ive been dosing NilocG ferts and root tabs but in addition to my problems ive added seachem potassium which helped for a couple weeks, instantly new growth in anubias plants/ java fern and less holes in other of my plants but not to the point id say is any success. still have all the same problems... About 2 weeks ago I moved my goldfish to a new tank. Since the day after they have had a weird sickness I can’t figure out or cure. White puffy covering on eyes, and non furry large spots along body. Fins were ragged fast on the orange one, but improved. You can see white areas from body / eyes in pics. Had the goldfish for months, tank and equipment were all new/ cleaned/ cycled. My tank is a 75 gallon with two fish 1 Oscar 1 Pleco both about 2 to 3 inches no plants. Now I am using one Seachem tidal 75 I have another one but think I would rather go to a canister instead of two HOB. Trying to decide what size. I've been looking at fluvals 407,fx2 and fx4.
