After traversing the globe running the kitchens of some of the most luxurious hotels and resorts, to cooking for The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart and many more VIPs, Shannon Batten started a young family and decided Brisbane was the best place for kids to grow up. He ventured to the Queenies city of the north and is now running two hotels and making a name for himself in the process.

Soon enough a love of cooking took over and he found himself veering from university and into a commercial kitchen. After working is way through some of Sydney’s best establishments, he’s now leading one of the largest kitchen teams at one of Sydney’s institutions.
