Big plans are in store for Milwaukee's downtown area. The Department of City Development has released a draft of its Connec+ing MKE plan 2040 and it includes ideas like adding four route extensions of The Hop, redeveloping the site of the Marcus Center parking structure and removing I-794 through Downtown.
