This multi-hyphenate filmmaker produced Netflix original films Juanita & recently served as director for Hulu’s recently launched Initiative 29 in collaboration with Disney+ & ASPEN+’s “Black History Always”. Mel was also a producer on the MACRO Film, ‘Really Love’ which is now streaming on Netflix.
