I'm trying to pull a set of numbers after a delimiter using "_1" as a delimiter, but in some values in the data this delimiter shows up one time before the one that I want to pull from. Hi, Currently trying to pull some text out of another column in powerquery that has file names in it. The problem is these file names are not consistent and have multiple beginning 'codes' I need to look for to use as the starting point for extracting the text. An example of this is a file name contains "_35" so I would want to pull 8 characters after the "_", but it also contains "_" in other places in the file name, and other files may look like this " 35" instead of using "_". 35 is also... Table1: Among many columns, I have a column with whole numbers and also text. In PQ, I will do a Merge on the above table with another lookup table (Table2). It seems to work fine in PQ editor since I can expand the new column from Table2. But when I try to Load To as a pivot table or Table, I get the error: [DataFormat.Error] We couldn't convert to Number. It seems the error is caused by the column mentioned in Table1.
