Last week we dived into the world of coffee, this week we are all about tea. The history of tea encompasses multiple cultures and spans thousands of years. Kevin Borowsky is the co-owner of The Whistling Kettle, which is a tea shop and restaurant with locations in Troy and Ballston Spa, New York. Borowsky and his wife caught the entrepreneurial bug and after extensive research the pair opened the company in 2004. When Mandy Lee, moved from New York City to Beijing in 2010, she experienced "soul-crushing" depression. Finding solace in warm spices and sticky sauces, Lee found she was able to focus and cope with difficulties in her kitchen. In 2019 Lee, 39, released her new cookbook entitled The Art Of Escapism Cooking, which is filled with humor, photography and elaborate flavors.
