My dr gave me antibiotics and I was thinking of also adding a supplement if it works. It has been a rough UTI infection with burning during urine and pain in the right side. I feel a lot better and I am still only in day 4 of the 10 day antibiotic course but the burning pain in the urethral opening area is persistent. Just got labs done yesterday after not having a menstrual cycle for 8 months (pregnancy test is negative), losing 20 lbs in one month, experiencing hot flashes and night sweats, insomnia, and anxiety. I received a call from my doc that my thyroid is "normal" so we will maybe see if we need to test more specific hormones "down the line" at my next visit (he can't fit me into his schedule for 2+ months!). Antihistamines work for my allergies just fine, but I can't handle the side effects anymore. I noticed that I gain weight every summer and finally made the connection to my allergies and antihistamines. They make me really, really hungry, and even when I don't eat all that my appetite demands, I seem to gain weight or bloat really badly. I don't want to buy new clothes.
