I’m thinking about going all-in on Achtung! Cthulhu but haven’t been able to find a good comparison between the original version and the newer 2d20 modiphius version. Is there any big difference to the setting/lore between them? What rules system feels better for this setting for those who have played both? Hi all, the overwhelm rule as I understand it seems to imply that the party that is being attacked by multiple attackers is still able to respond by dodging, fighting back or maneuvering against EACH attack. I get that the attackers beyond the first get a bonus die. However, it still feels to me that the party being overwhelmed gets to respond like Neo in the Matrix, by getting the opportunity to respond each instance. I know I've missed the boat on 14th February this year, but I've finally put the Valentine's Day scenario I wrote up onto DriveThruRPG.
