So I woke up at 12pm today, didn't really do alot. I did go to the shop though. I ended up buying a bag of Haribo Balla Bites, a packet of pasta and sauce (just a microwave thingy) amd a couple of monster energy drinks. I ate all of that as well as a packet of flaming hot dotitos, I'm getting sick of eating, I'm getting sick of gaining weight, but I'm too depressed to do anything about it. I've tried intermittent fasting, I end up doing okay for a couple of weeks and then messing up. I want to blame my friends because it's always when I go to there house that I end up eating alot, but I know ..read more

my parents are getting overly concerned w my eating habits and are making me now get blood work done , the doctors have also requested to analyse my faeces . Lovely except for the fact I have not pooped since Saturday and since that day I’ve been eating literally anything I can to make my stool look “ normal “ ( not like those balls ) and raise my vital levels so they don’t weigh me or anything like that . Prior to this I was constipated for three - seven days every week or if that hadn’t been the case I’d force it out ( to not gain ? ) . That was because I had no food going in so nothing wou ..read more

I am not seeking medical advice! I am just curious if anyone has experienced this. I am a 22 year old male (5’10 - 143 lbs). Mid January I had a pain on the side of my hip following a run on a treadmill. Fast forward to today, whenever I get to 2 miles, my hip gets extremely tight and pain arises. (FYI, I can do the stairs, jump rope, cycle, no issues at all). I have gotten a cortisone shot, acupuncture, physio, chiropractor, rested, ice/heat…Nothing really has seemed to work. I recovered from an ED/Malnutrition disorder and am still getting over it for context. I was not starving myself, how ..read more

Any advice or words of encouragement are welcome. I've struggled with disordered eating my whole life, and have experienced it on the whole spectrum. I've restricted, purged, binged, name it and I've likely done it. For the last year or so I've struggled with BED. I miss the "control" I used to have when restricting, I loved the attention and the compliments I recieved on my weight loss and appearance. It's like Im not wired that way any more. My binge eating is a huge source of shame. I feel ugly and out of control. I hate my body. My medication provider wants me to speak to someone about my ..read more

I live in a hostel and eat food in mess. I got job(not yet joined) so that removed my guilt over spending money and I started spending all my money on ordering food. I would feel guilty over it and skip one meal and spend more money over the next meal cause i feel weak. My current situation is eating just to be alive ( i mean not faint or get into trouble) and to not feel "eating just to be alive" I order stuff and I lose interest by the time I get them and throw half of the food. I see few health problems minute one arising but I ignore them. I tend to over talk but the conclusion is "I am n ..read more

I was managing to only eat once a day, barely what you would call a filling meal, but today I ate more than I intended. In the morning I had some jello because it's light on the stomach, then a while after I made myself some toast because I couldn't help it. Was feeling hunger starting up and gave in. Then, unexpectedly, my mom made dinner which she doesn't really do that often anymore, and I ate everything on my plate. I had almost gone for a whole week of eating the bare minimum and now look at me. My stomach is heavy and round and I resent it, hate myself for always being too weak. And, at ..read more

So I'm 5'9", 115 pounds (bmi 17). Everybody says that I'm too thin, but I heavily disagree. Like, I can see fat literally everywhere on my body. But, that's what everyone sees, right? And maybe the 3 day fast I'm in the middle of isn't the healthiest, but people fast all the time! It's not that bad, right? submitted by /u/uberscoot557 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
