Laser therapies are medical treatments that use focused light. Unlike most light sources, light from a laser (which stands for light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation) is tuned to specific wavelengths. This allows it to be focused into powerful beams. Laser light is so intense that it can be used to shape diamonds or cut steel.

Divorced at 42, now 65, most of my friends have died off. I moved to a retirement home away from home state because of the cost,, but especially since the pandemic, I'm alone most of the time, with the exception of my parrot, who, at 31, has been with me longer than any human. Playful and affectionate, he may live another 30 years with me (my family mostly lives into their 90's).
So, anyone else with a pet who is your primary companion?

Hi, my name is Marcel! I am a first year college student taking a human development course. This requires me to interview an older adult, but unfortunately I do not have any in my life. The interview is a part of a final assignment, along with a young adult interview I have already conducted. It asks questions about your background, health, relationships, and experiences.
