I just saw that the Red Sea is essentially closed to U.S. and European shipping. China and Russia are still shipping through the Suez Canal while Western shipping is being diverted around Africa but the U.S. Navy and the British navy are still in the Red Sea. While there is a Chinese squadron down there, it is doing nothing. Amazingly, the Brits and the Americans are attempting to protect Chinese and Russian shipping. Does anyone else find this funny in a sick way ..read more

I've noticed that there's a discussion here about blogging. But I'm opening this topic because a blog would only partially help me. Over the past few weeks, I needed to find documents from my university days. Now I've found them, but during the long search — two and a half dozen years passed — I found a manuscript I'd written. I hadn't remembered that I had started to write a novel. I guess that I got excited about it and left it lying around.

It seems that we are experiencing a distributed denial of service (DDOS) attack, which is explained on this Wikipedia page. I doubt we are the target, in that someone is trying to put this forum down. More likely, the attack is against the network that we're on, or, if no one else is having troubles, anywhere between where I am and where the forum is. It should clear up soon ..read more

I couldn't find any movies to watch on Roku or Prime or Netflix, you get the picture so I browsed through my own movie library. I have some that I've never watched and Pride and Glory was my choice with Colin Powell and Edward Norton, a cop movie better a dirty cop movie. I like both of these actors and wanted to see how they fared in this movie and to my surprise I didn't like Colin Farrell playing the bad cop. This is shocking, my sister had her first episode in 20's and lived with in and out MS symptoms, but I never knew how her body felt. She gave up the fight when she was 68, about 10 yrs ago.
