Curls: Keep going or new style?

I’ve been growing these curls for nearly 1.5yrs and appreciate that they are unique, but shorter hair seemed more complementary to my face and less of a hassle to deal with. Does anyone have suggestions for cuts to try with this curl type or a reason I should just keep going? submitted by /u/Budget-Kangaroo [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Bangs or no bangs

Throughout my life, I have consistently maintained a hairstyle with bangs. However, due to the recent birth of my daughter, I have been unable to visit a salon to maintain my preferred style. As a result, my bangs have grown longer, and I am now experiencing a sense of discomfort and unfamiliarity with my appearance. In light of this situation, I seek your professional guidance in determining which hairstyle suits me better: with or without bangs? submitted by /u/r0llercoaster93 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Thick and heavy hair

Looking for suggestions, my hair is thick, heavy and mix of wavy, curly, 2b mostly. It's so heavy when long, hurts my head. It's too much maintenance to have it short as it requires heat tools. What should I asked for in the salon? In this Pic it's ready to be washed, after a few days old blow out. Thanks in advance. submitted by /u/BothFishing7611 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I feel like this style of hair doesn't ever settle for a perfect look. It is always either too short or too long, too thin or too thick. One of my friends told me to get a cut like in the fourth picture. I dont know if its possible with my hair type, straight as hell unless all the poisons are applied. Just give me examples of what to get or do. submitted by /u/SilasYellow [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

How would I go about getting this hairstyle?

I want to get this sort of hair look. What would I need to ask my barber and what sort of products or processes would I need to use? Also, how to preserve the wet hair look for longer since whenever I try it with gel, the look goes away within an hour. Any tips are greatly appreciated. submitted by /u/cooksandcreatesart [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
