As the title says, I'm looking for an easy-to-maintain hairstyle for an oval face.
I'm thinking of something about chin or shoulder length with layers, and side-part bangs would be nice. Also, I'm not looking to add much product as most don't stay in long enough to do anything. My hair is board straight and bound and determined to stay that way. I have tried curling it before, but the products/process needed to maintain that always took forever and left my hair feeling crunchy and heavy. And it's very hot where I am, so allowing my hair to beath is important.

Got to messing with ideas for short hair for the summer. I live in the south and didn’t want a rug of hair like I had previously, plus I have band camp near the end of summer break.
For context; I was trying to get a style that would be short, that way I don’t get an weird looking tan on my neck, but also wanted something easy to do and still look okay

But I struggle so much with it, and I don't seem to find other people who share the same type of struggles.
For one, my hair seems to just stay in positions that defy gravity, with no product whatsoever on it. I ..read more

I let my cousin cut my hair shorter and into layers, we’ve done this before which went well, but this time we didn’t use any tutorial cuz “we knew how to do my regular hairstyle” (which is above shoulder length hair with layers and a bit of side bangs). However this time we went way overboard with the amount of layers and how high each layer went, and also fucked up the sides of the head which ruined the silhouette. I didn’t notice how short it was because the hair was wet. It is looking really rough and I don’t know how to make this look good or how to fix it. The biggest problem is that the ..read more

I’m 16 and made a spur of the moment decision to cut my hair and I really regret it how do I fix this or at least how do I style it like the photo
