I have medium to thick hair that has a bit of a wave to it. I almost exclusively wear it in a bun because it’s easiest but maybe there’s something out there that’s easy and just better. Open to ALL suggestions! Included some pics for face shape. Last one is probably one of my fave cuts but it feels a little boring and also bangs are a lot of upkeep lol submitted by /u/ShMontgo [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

How to prevent my extensions from tangling at the roots?

I got my human hair clip in extensions only about 3 months ago. I take excellent care of them. I brush them with a hairbrush meant for extensions, I put them in a satin bag at the end of each use, I wash them once a month (maybe more than a month between washes) I use heat protectant when I style them, I use hair oil, I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong here but this is how they look any time I use them lately. It’s absolutely SO annoying. I don’t think I’m installing them wrong so I’m at a loss for words. I got them from Irresistible Me if that helps. Maybe it’s just the brand? submitted ..read more

32/f should I get a pixie

I've always wanted a pixie cut but I'm scared I don't have the face for it. I def have a more angular face but I am not sure if my features are dainty enough to pull it off if that makes sense. My hair is also extremely thick and coarse so I'm scared I'll end up looking like a mushroom. I'm thinking about doing this summer since my husband and I will be done with all our trips /weddings for a while. Should I do it and if so, what kind of pixie ? I'm searching for hairstyle suggestions! My hair is really fine and thin so many fun hairstyles wont work ?. I really want to cover up my large forehead, but I'm not sure what type of bangs could work? (a hairdresser once advised against curtain bangs since my hair is too thin, same goes against layers). I'm also wondering which length hair would suit my faceshape best? Any tips or suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance ❤️? submitted by /u/Own-Ad3143 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Been contemplating a colour change for a long while. I haven’t dyed it in 6 years and it’s currently the healthiest it’s ever been. But I really need a change. I’ve been wanting to try a light auburn or copper but don’t have the guts to commit until I know it would suit me. Thoughts?

What do I do with my hair?!

I'm growing my hair out for the first time. I haven't cut it in like 7 months. I use hemp bar shampoo, bar conditioner, about every other day I use dry shampoo, and I use a boar's hair brush in the morning. Should I cut any of it to help it look better as I grow it out past my shoulders? If so, how? How do I keep the ends from sticking up? How do I keep it out of my eyes? If I ever get enough money to dye it, what do you recommend? And what about the frizz? I am looking for cheap, low maintenance, eco-friendly solutions. It takes so long to look even as good/bad as that picture. Thanks! subm ..read more

Bored while growing out color!

I've had every color except orange, yellow, & platinum. My absolute favorite on me is red but I want to grow out the current color I have before I do anything else. I have some highlights in the back midsection which had some pink then purple on it. Both have faded & now I have plain old blonde. I'm bored out of my mind with what I've got & don't know what to do! submitted by /u/Fragrant-Dirt-1597 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
