I am loving the lace weave classes, but my son’s partner really wants a blanket for her birthday.  As I have a 4-harness loom and want to use double weave, I’ll be using plain weave.  I’d like to alternate columns and rows  of Monte Cristo with columns of 4/8 cotton.  Would it be correct to sley the 4/8 columns  at 10 epi and the Monte Cristo columns at 8 epi ..read more

I can only see a couple that you would have to adjust.  You can adapt the width of stripes or checks in PW by removing pairs of threads in each section across your warping plan to bring it down to the width of the reed you need for your loom.                           ..read more

I got mine to work…thanks so much! ? Although it wasn’t real clear what I was doing. I entered my email address and then I clicked on subscribe and everything worked then. I hadn’t clicked on subscribe before for I thought it would make me pay of another subscription. But it was then that it recognized my email and then asked for a new password. I hope you have luck! ?   ..read more

One suggestion -have you changed your email address in the last few months?  I had the same issue trying to get into the new site and with the aid of the very helpful folks at Vimeo we determined that the issue was even though I was able to login to JST with my new address, my old address was the one sent to Vimeo.  They entered my new address and I was able to login, put in a new password and enjoy the new site ..read more

Have you checked the Help section at the very bottom left of the main page?  There is tons of info there but here’s a shortcut to hopefully finding your answer. https://www.schoolofweaving.tv/help/articles/trouble-logging-in-computer Let us know if you still have a problem after going through the check list – at the very bottom on the right is a green Contact Us button that will take you to folks who are not weavers but whizzes at technical stuff ;-). My fingers are ? that you will get solved by using the “Help” info ..read more

You have to create a new password – it will recognize your email address.  This site will remain for a wee bit more time but will not be the site for the Online Guild.  The Forum on this site will be here to search for previously asked questions but will not be here for comment much longer ..read more

Good day….I’m a bit confused as well. Is this site being discontinued? I used the link above and entered my email and password and the new site doesn’t recognize it? I’ve been so busy with spring work I haven’t paid much attention to my weaving. But I’m getting caught up and will be getting back into it and would hate not to have access to the classes! Thanks ..read more
