Hey, I’m 32 and came off the pill after 18 years. The last 2 months my periods have been strange. They have been shorter and have been dark brown blood with dried flecks in it. I’m really worried and started Googling it (I shouldn’t have) but it’s talking about menopause or hormone imbalance. I’m really scared as I want to have kids with my new partner. Has anyone else experienced this and can reassure me? Thanks xxxx Statistics: Posted by sophiebubbles91 — Sun Aug 27, 2023 12:27 pm ..read more

Hello so back in May/ June I started to suspect that I was pregnant. I’m on birth control but I started getting weird symptoms like sore breasts, stomach cramps, food tasted different, odd cravings like meat even though I’m a vegetarian. I was going to take a pregnancy test but decided to do it after a week long family vacation, because if I tested positive I didn’t want that in my mind while stuck with my family on vacation.. Last day of the vacation I managed to get food poisoning or some sort of stomach virus. I couldn’t eat for 5 days, anything I ate just came right out again. On the 3rd ..read more

I've never had an abortion but I know it is no easy decision: the potential mother is going through a tough time. Now I'd put the child up for adoption, rather than abort him/her. I was raised to be quite religious and this has stuck with me. HOWEVER, there ARE times when abortion is a valid thing to do: like if the mother would die through child-birth and other reasons. I certainly won't stand on my soapbox, BUT I would stick with adoption, if possible. Statistics: Posted by MissCandyGirl — Sun Jul 02, 2023 10:58 am ..read more

If you experience sharp pain during sex, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional, such as a gynecologist or a urologist, for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. There are several potential causes for this type of pain, including: Lack of lubrication: Insufficient lubrication can lead to discomfort or pain during sex. This can be addressed by using a water-based lubricant to reduce friction. Vaginal infections: Infections such as yeast infections or bacterial vaginosis can cause pain during sex. I'm not a doctor, but I can try to provide some general information that might be helpful to you. Irregular periods can be caused by various factors other than PCOS, such as hormonal imbalances, thyroid issues, stress, weight fluctuations, and certain medical conditions. It's important to note that only a qualified healthcare professional can accurately diagnose the underlying cause of your symptoms.
