The Commerce Clause is the bane of my existence: Shortly it will be yours, too. As you will see, almost everything the federal government does is through the commerce clause, and the interpretation of it has essentially granted the federal government a police power, which the Constitution explicitly did not grant to the feds, leaving ..read more

Today in Everything Wrong the Constitution, we examine how a late edit created one of the most powerful clauses for the creation of a strong national government. Its inclusion was cited by the three men that refused to sign the ratification of the Constitution as a reason for refusing to do so: The necessary and ..read more

I have endeavored to write up everything I personally think the Founders got wrong when they wrote up the Constitution and sent it to the states on September 17, 1787 (I am sorry James Madison; no, it was not perfect, but thank you for all the work you did at the Constitutional Convention anyways). This ..read more

I’ll admit it: The elites got to us. They hammered the economy and diminished reality, forcing the rebels here at The Gadsden Press and Whiskey Rebellion into overdrive, and our efforts here don’t lead to income to help us fight them 1:1. We all went deeper into our day jobs and families, preparing everything we ..read more

Our 40th president, Ronald Reagan, with all of his faults and success, had a famous, often used quip that “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the government, and I’m here to help.”
Unfortunately, we were reminded once again how dangerous those words might be this last Tuesday as a gunman took twenty-one innocent lives at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. It was revealed on Thursday that the individual was able to rain Hell down on those poor souls for over an hour before police attempted to confront him. Videos show parents outside the school begging po ..read more

Building today so there is hope for tomorrow
I know. I know we’ve dropped off the face of the earth as of late. There are a lot of reasons, all of them valid, true, and honorable. I haven’t felt right leaving y’all out to dry without any reason of absence, though. I think about it everyday. How many people have grown to enjoy our words and our thoughts; it’s always humbling. Nevertheless, this is my first attempt at reconnecting and ensuring that the Rebellion is alright.
I’ll be as vague while being direct as I can be to provide the most high-level reasons for each of our silences:

Arizona senator Krysten Sinema was chased into a bathroom by an illegal immigrant, among others, last week while at Arizona State University. They filmed her in the bathroom as they yelled at her the Democrat 2021 rallying cry “Build Back Better!” She was also (somehow) harassed on her flight back to Washington, D.C. This was all done in an attempt to try and to get her to change her swing vote to favor the $3.5 trillion “infrastructure” bill currently sitting in Congress that once included a provision creating a pathway to citizenship for DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) recipien ..read more

The Kommiela White House announced via Press Secretary Jen “Circle Back” Psaki that it is “working with” Facebook to stop the spread of ‘disinformation’ on the social media giant surrounding the COVID-19 ‘vaccine’ as case rates allegedly skyrocket thanks to the new ‘delta’ variant and vaccination rates fall flat despite the White House hitting its vaccination goal, which was low in the first place. Biden even let out from his demented state that Facebook was ‘killing’ people, likely believing he was saying it in his own head.
Naturally, the White House will likely ignore the disinformation tha ..read more

Dismantling an Empire
Despite what the modern world wants to believe, we will never stop working or struggling. From the dawn of time to the end of days, there will be chaos, there will be problems, and there will be death. To ignore so is to ignore reality; to focus on such a reality is torture.
It’s vital to remind yourself of these facts every single day, no matter for how long or how little you choose to do so. It’s especially important, though, to keep these facts in mind when ever news breaks or the world appears to be falling apart. You’ve heard me say as much a hundred times here at Th ..read more

It’s hard to argue that Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) isn’t the most powerful Joe in America. Yes, even more powerful than Joe Biden, the President of the United States, and not because the President suffers from senility and is clearly not in charge of the country. Joe Manchin is the most powerful “Joe” in America because he is the most moderate politician in the entire United States Senate which is currently sitting in a 50/50 gridlock. A “Conservative Democrat” from West Virginia, Manchin has toed the tight rope of centrism for his 11.5 years in Washington. He represents a state in which Donal ..read more
