Today is an important day for planetary energies as Pluto finally moves out of Earthy Capricorn, into Airy Aquarius, for the first time since 1798, where it will stay until 2044! It slips back into Capricorn from June 11th 2023 – Jan 21st 2024, & Sept. 2nd 2024 – Nov. 19th 2024. From now until June, we will get a taster of what this huge shift means individually and in our relationships, as well as collectively!
Although Capricorn is not particularly a relationship sign, Aquarius is a step further removed from relationships, so it will be interesting to notice subtle and not so sub ..read more

Mars entered Gemini on August 20, 2022, beginning an extended stay in the sign of the twins. Mars usually stomps through a sign in about six weeks, but when he retrogrades the timeline is greatly extended. This time around, he’ll stay in Gemini until March of 2023. We’ll have more to report as he begins, and then ends, his retrograde.
Mars in Gemini likes to get things done verbally, and we’ll see some heated conversations. As is typical of any planet in the dual sign, Mars can take both sides of the issue. Vacillation is one possible outcome, but so is outright deception and duplicity - a few ..read more

Mars enters Taurus on Jul 5, 2022, beginning a stay until late August. Mars in the sign of the bull thus colors our summer (in the Northern Hemisphere, at least). In Venus’ earthy home sign, Mars is sensual, sexual, and very direct in getting what he wants. While Taurus can be slow moving, Mars acts like a sleeping cat in the sign: rousing only when there’s something to do, but then acting swiftly.
And Mars will have a lot to do in the next seven weeks! Although the first half of his stay is not that eventful, things start to change in late July ..read more

Mars dove into the deep waters of oceanic Pisces on April 14th, swimming towards his home sign of Aries, which he’ll reach on May 24th. Along the way, he’ll meet with Neptune and make easy connections to Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn. Venus and Jupiter will both leave the Pisces before Mars gets a chance to meet with them.
In Pisces, Mars can swim in two directions, just like the two fish. One option for action is to go beyond the boundaries, pushing past limits and exceeding the norm. On a collective level, this could manifest as a c ..read more

Venus entered Pisces on April 5th, beginning a monthlong stay (until May 2nd). The sign of the fish is Venus’ exaltation, and her focus is on universal love and compassion. While personal connections aren’t out of the question, we’re looking at the bigger picture.
The end of April will be a kind of peak for Venus in Pisces, as she meets with Neptune on the 27th and Jupiter on the 30th - the day of the new moon in Taurus. This is a time to tune into our deeper feelings of love and our shared experiences of being human.

Mars enters Capricorn on January 24th, 2022, beginning a six week stay, until March 7th. The Cosmic Warrior is generally happy in Saturn’s home sign - he likes to have a task to keep him busy. It’s a good placement for folks that have things to accomplish as we begin the year.
For relationships, Mars in Capricorn pulls towards the traditional and conservative side of things - monogamy and structured relationships. While he certainly can be passionate when he feels he’s in a good place, Mars in Capricorn can wait for the right person, in ..read more

“It's a new dawn
It's a new day
It's a new life
For me
And I'm feeling good”
Feeling Good by Antony Newley (music) and Leslie Bricusse (lyrics)
As we reach the end of 2021, it’s a great time to re-assess our relationship with ourselves, and with the people in our life – family, friends, work colleagues, community, locality…particularly with Venus Retrograde! This includes taking into account any revelations about our relationships, that may have come to light during, or just before, or after, the final exact Saturn/Uranus square on Dec. 24th.

1. Holidays inevitably trigger past experiences of prior holidays – all the way back to childhood…Creating some alone time amidst the hustle and bustle, gives you time to process and separate the present from the past, and for your Moon to sit with whatever emotions are surfacing.
If your Mercury likes to write, journaling can really help at this time. If it prefers to chat, pre-arrange to call a good friend, even if it’s just to hear their voice. Remember that your loved ones are also being triggered…

November 5, 2021
Venus enters Capricorn on November 5, 2021, beginning an extended stay - through March 6 of 2022. During her time in Saturn’s sign, she’ll retrograde for 40 days - more on that as we approach it. For now, we’ll note that Venus will begin to slow down in her movement as we get deeper into November, and that she crossed into the shadow of her retrograde on November 18th.
In Capricorn, Venus favors formality and elegance, and encourages us to stick with tradition (whatever your tradition happens to be). As we approach the holiday seas ..read more

Venus enters Sagittarius on October 7th, beginning a stay that will continue until November 5th. That’s a little longer than usual, as the Goddess of Love is slowing down - not much at this point, but a little - to retrograde in December.
In Sagittarius, Venus is expansive and outgoing. It’s a great placement for parties, travel, and exploration. Unlike her recent time in Scorpio, Venus isn’t necessarily looking for commitment and security in the sign of the archer. She want’s to expand her romantic horizons, and perhaps you should co ..read more
