Hi all ! I have been starting making soap and candles. In the process of testing recipes so far. I do not want to use palm wax or oil, nor soy (I live in France, and would like to source my waxes and oils nearby and not overseas....) So I have tried sunflower wax, canola wax and even olive wax. Does anyone know if there are any shops in the Denver, CO area that carry LX candle wicks? I am ready to give candle making a try. Has anybody tried BW 924? It's a coconut apricot blend without paraffin. It is soy based i think. I have only seen it at Aztec aand Candles & Supplies. C&S says it cures in 18-24 hours! I just poured test candles and so far tthe CT is great. I am trying to compare it to Coco84X & Ceda Serica and would love any feedback on any of these waxes ..read more
