Hi, could someone tell me how (in an IWS autodrain system) the run off is removed from the pots. I know it goes down piping attached to the pots but what forces the water down them? Is it just gravity? Meaning that the pots must be higher then the control unit/brain? Or does the control unit suck it through somehow? I've tried googling this but I can't find any explanation. Hi, I want to set up a IWS system that has an auto watering system as well. I don't know if you can buy them both together in one system, I can only find the auto drain system. I was planning on getting the IWS auto drain system then buying the auto watering system but I guess I don't know the right search term because I can't find them. But I would like to try the Autopot system (Flexipot version) next time, probably together with the BioTabs (organic) products. If i mix 1ml of 1,000 ppm solution to 1 litre of water that gives me 1 ppm? Hi, i would like to buy a ro system for dwc and can’t decide which one to buy. there is waterdrop g2 that produces pure ro water and frizzlife pd600-tam3 with an alkaline filter with (>7.5ph) and remineralizes the water with calmg but not much. Still under 100ppm. I know that with pure ro water I get ph swings specially in bloom. so which one makes more sense pure water mixed with tap for ph stability or the frizzlife life system ? thanks ..read more

Evening Stoners I’m trying to decide what to do for my Autumn grow. I going to be using a 2 plant DWC in a 75lt res. Until now I’ve only ever grown the same strain in this set up and I’ve had pretty good results. This grow I want to do two different strains (Black Domina/ Exodus Cheese) (literally chalk and cheese in terms of plant structure, bud development, leaf shape, etc) So I’m concerned that I’m not going to be able to give each plant what it needs.
