I’m starting tonight with topical finasteride, minoxidil and my new. dermaroller. The pic is my launchpadthat I will compare to every few months. It’s mostlylopevia areata from IMRT for my Anaplastic Astrocytoma in 2007. Although it has been stable for years, minoxidil slone hasn’t thickened it much, if at all. Instead of forking over $4k to Hairclub for their EXT Therapy, Ism going to try this on my own. I should only do the roller once a week, yes?
t-minus 10 seconds and counting Wish me luck!!! BLASTOFF!!!✌️

My hair is obviously thinning out. I’m only 22. Can it be saved? If so, what can I do? or am i just gonna have to cope with it going away?

Noticed that my part looks really wide and that my scalp is totally visible in the middle of my hairline, and not just when my hair is wet. Is this normal for my hairtype or a clear sign of some thinning? Should I just try changing my hairstyle?

Recently came across a few studies suggesting that topical adenosine offers promising results for hairloss:

After doing some research I found minimal posts about products that utilize adenosine on Reddit or elsewhere on the internet. A few companies like this one:

But that’s about it. I’m curious if anyone here uses products with adenosine and if it’s even w ..read more

I had a biopsy done from a dermatologist recommended by my doctor. Im seeing another doctor now and he is asking for a copy of my biopsy, the problem is that the dermatologist building is shut down and not even there number is in service anymore. I called my older doctor to see why and how to get my results but she said they were shut down because of many bad reviews (ngl it was shady because they barely spoke English) and now I’m not sure how to get ahold of my biopsy results. I don’t wanna get it again because they left me with a small tissue mass that had to get surgically removed and I re ..read more

Idek if this is the right subreddit but idk where to ask. Everytime I wash my hair I lose a lot of them but idk if that's just a normal amount (pic 3). Then, after I've dried them, I often "brush" them with my hands and that (pic 4) happens. I sometimes have nightmares about being bald/having bald spots so I hope I'm just being paranoid or something
