Hi, somehow, there is not a very active discussion in this thread. I would be happy to look at the models people use and find out what really good things can be found on the market now. So far, I’m just thinking about buying a combine harvester, and I’m interested to find out what good options and tips can be given to me by people who have been in this business for a long time and know exactly more than I do. A friend advised me to use the service https://www.exapro.com/sell-your-used-plant-machinery/ to buy not a new model but a supported one first to see what I need at all and understand for ..read more

Hi guys, I can’t find the X Cut C85 in Canada. Hopefully I will be able to buy some. From looking at the C85 factory grind angles , a 5.5mm round file will not form that profile. But a single bevel chisel bit file could or the new Hexa file Stihl is introducing sometime in 2021. Willard Holmen Attachments:You must be logged in to view attached files ..read more

For the first time in my life I have tested a battery chainsaw. “Mixed emotions” could be a good conclusion of that test. I was positively surprised by the power and speed in the saw. The power-weight ratio was excellent. It was very silent, but noisier than I expected. I never realized that the chain make so much noice! The downside, if you ask me, is the handling with batteries. They are heavy to carry to the forest in the morning, and just as heavy when you go home in the afternoon. I know it differs between brands and types of batteries, but on the saw we tested, an Echo DCS 1600, the batt ..read more

Sometimes you feel like a child in a toy shop. Like when I got to try out five chainsaws I never tried before. Four of the them were Echo saws. It was the first time I ever touched a Echo saw. And one was the Stihl MS 201 C-M. I did try Stihl saws before but never this model. It was a nice experience. But the thing with two days switching between five new saws + my own Husky 550 XP was something I could do again. Of course I wrote about it … Test of Echo chainsaws ..read more
