This meditation begins on the ocean and takes us to visit a memory with the intention of observing the memory with our younger selves. When we experience trauma or loss, a part ourselves can fragment off. In shamanic terms, this fragment is referred to as soul loss. A part of ourselves leaves. When we experience this, we can have loss of memory details or emotions around the event. It may feel like disassociation.
