I’m not sure how this happened, but this keyboard was plugged into its port for years and when I picked the computer up the red plastic base came apart from the metal connector. I might try to straighten the bent pins, but I fear they will snap off when I do that. Is there a way to fix this without using solder? If not, what would I do?

Questions about voltage regulation
Hello. I have a high altitude balloon flight at the end of the month. In the past we have used a 236g anker powercore li-po (13000mah) for a kodak orbit 360° camera and it's worked great but we want to cut Weight this time. I'd like it to run for 5 hours to be safe.
I used my multimeter to check the amp draw during 360 filming for the camera and it looked like 600ma. From what i can gather most gopro style cameras pull about 1.5A. I'm not sure if this is correct, it seems low as the kodak 369 is actually 2 cameras.
I also have a tiny hd camera that has a bat ..read more

Our tv out of the blue started to turn its self off and then back on a couple of seconds later and then it will stay on for maybe 10 seconds and turn off again and just keeps going like that. I suspected the capacitors maybe had blown so I took off the back and everything looked fine. I’m at a loss so if anyone has any advice or can maybe spot something that looks off on the circuit board please help me out ! (Since I took those pictures I cleaned the board in case the dust was affecting it but it’s not helped. )

I am wanting to design a device which would plug into a UK wall socket and allow other standard UK plugs to be connected to it.
In other words it would be a device that has both a male and female UK plug connector featured on it.
I am struggling to find where I might purchase these connector pins from. I have done a bunch of searching and have come up dry. I really don't want to go the route of purchasing extension leads and disassembling them for parts. Ideally I would like to purchase the pins directly.
I have tried searching for variations of "bs 1363 pins" but can't seem to find anything ..read more

Hello All,
I am currently playing around with this FET and trying to understand how it works. However for some reason I am not able to turn it on no matter what I do. I am so confused on what I am doing wrong that I can not figure it out. Would appreciate any help.
I have attached a circuit of what I did to only turn it on. Keeping in mind I just wanted to turn it on and nothing else. Would appreciate your help in what I am missing.
Things I have already tried.
- RDRV= open, short to AGND, 5.6k to AGND
-supplying AUX from 10V all the way upto 24V
- Supplying accordingly IN with 5V- 15V ..read more

I'm wanting to implement a circuit that will provide a logic level output (3V3) from a piezo film sensor when it hits a certain threshold. From what I can tell the max voltage the sensor outputs in my application is ~50V.
-I've tried playing with a self-designed schmitt trigger but I can't seem to make it work with a 5V rail and much higher transient voltage from the sensor.
-I've been looking at IC's from TI but most claim a max V input of 5.5V. Is this just a steady-state rating? Will the much higher V from the sensor damage the IC? I'm afraid of using a voltage divider to ground becaus ..read more

Just curious. Saw this in an ATX Schematic. Why is a dual diode, D6, used but one of the diode is grounded? Why not use a single diode or does the grounded input serve a purpose?
