Technological progress today is developing fast. And one of the main transformative forces in our world is artificial intelligence. AI Tools are already helping us run multiple businesses without partners and employees, automate routine tasks, and simply earn more (you'll find many more examples in our previous newsletters!).
But how not to get lost in the process of adapting to AI? Are you sure you're on the cutting edge of progress and not missing out on anything?
First, we'll take a peek into the world of AI from a skeptical retrogrades (Laggards) point of view, and then, we'll gradually r ..read more

I have to measure current, for that I am looking for a current transformer with 4-20 mA output. But I am uncertain about its wiring to analog input module of PLC, because I have heard that modules can be sourcing or sinking. What does it mean exactly? How should I connect the transmitter to it? Module is of Siemens, so can someone explain me using their product?

Is there any free program or system I can get into that would allow for me to automate process whereby a reference number is read from an image, converted to editable text, and then inserted into an email?
I've used auto hotkey in the past to great success but at that time I don't remember it being able to read images and convert to text. Wondering if I need something different altogether, or what. Any suggestions?

Hi,
i need some help with my first idea for a bot i want to build, but i dont know where to start and hope you can help me with finding the right tools and code for this.
So plan is: I want to create bot, that automatically books an Event on a pike13 sports page at a special day and time. So e.g. every Saturday at 10:30 the bot should login to my account, open up the upcoming event in the next week and should book me a spot.
I already looked in the Selenium, but i cant get it working because pike13 seems to be build with angular, and i cant get ids or classes for the Elements that should be c ..read more

Hello!
I use several copies of Firefox portable. Now they had to be updated to version 116. Accordingly, I updated their Imacros to version 10.0... and rewrote js to iim. But the problem is that each copy of Firefox has its own bookmarks in iMacros! iMacros scripts are no longer in the form of files, but in an unintelligible form.
Can I somehow point different instances of the portable browser to the same location with the iims?
With respect and gratitude if anyone can answer.

Just new here, and super curious what do people automate? Is there any specific workflow or use cases that you automate or wish to automate?

Hi, I work at my county's county engineering office. As part of my duties, I am performing bridge analyses on each of our 400+ bridges. Each one takes at least 2-3 hours to complete and consists of just inputting data that already exists into the right place in the software. We reference construction plans for the bridges when available and if not, we turn to the DOT standards for the specific size of each part. There isn't really any critical thinking involved in this task, just putting numbers that are scattered across a few different papers into the right window. I feel like this process c ..read more

Hey I’m currently in the process of applying for jobs and was wondering if there is any no-code/low-code way to automate this: There are 4 websites/job boards where I’m applying for jobs and I’d like to keep track of it. I’d like to automate this by making Google sheet with the jobs and information from job posting such us title, company, details, salary and link to the posting. I know it’s easy thing to do with LinkedIn and Zapier but the thing is that those other job boards are local and it’s not possible to integrate them in Zapier too. What tools should I use here?
