Here’s a pair of Allen Edmonds Cavanaugh Penny Loafers I bought from the Allen Edmonds site. I’ve only worn them around the house so far. They were already on sale, but I got an extra 25 percent off with the holiday sale. FYI, when dealing with shoes with leather soles, always try them on carpet. My Nicks Americana in Brown Chromexcel. These were a custom build with all antique brass eyelets and a plain toe. I chose this instead of the Falcon to get the one piece backstay. I’m a 10E on the brannock and went with a 9.5E and they fit is perfect. The break in hasn’t been hard at all, idk what everyone’s talking about. I’ve noticed it really comes down to sizing, usually if you’re sized well the boots will feel good. I’ve been wearing them for a couple weeks and they’re super comfortable already.
