It's 2025! Hello, Dear One and Happy New Year!
Today's episode walks us through what it's like to be pregnant after a loss or traumatic prior experience related to birthing or pregnancy. I also share ways that those experience can impact your relationship with your partner.
And what I'm MOST excited about is to share that I'll be hosting a 5-week group container starting the first week of Feb 2025 for folks who are pregnant and now experiencing a lot of fear, anxiety, and worry as they move through their pregnancy. Is that you? Or is it someone in your circle? If so, find details of the progra ..read more

Donette first joined us for an interview in 2020 (Ep 13: Pregnancy & Loss in a Foreign Country). Today, she’s sharing how her journey has unfolded over the past four years. This includes three pregnancies (including being pregnant with twins) and curveball after curveball with unexpected losses, medical support, invasive procedures, the birth of a preemie, and life in the NICU.
I marvel at what it sometimes takes to bring these precious little ones into the world. ?
It was inspiring to hear the layers of support Donette called on during her journey, how the last few yea ..read more

We're taught to erase our scars, that they get in the way of our beauty and perfection. What's been coming up for me that led to this episode is the wisdom that scars are the physical manifestation of the lives we've lived. They are a part of the stories our bodies hold. They can be evidence of both our pain and growth.
I wonder if as souls we ever held the intention to not go through pain. Or was the intention to have the storied life we're now experiencing that has the potential to lead to deep levels of growth?
What are the stories we get to tell? What are the stories that our scars n ..read more

Our bodies are portals for creation. We have the ability to birth many, many expressions of life. But when our mainstream culture tells us that our worthiness is tied into birthing children, it creates a disconnection within ourselves if we accept that lie.
Today’s episode is an Instagram Live recording where I speak to:
Staying in connection with ourselves and our sense of worthiness regardless of where we are on the pregnancy journey
Birthing occurring on an energetic / spiritual level
When it becomes problematic to make a business or project “your baby”

The podcast is changing, beloved. In beautiful ways though. I've been feeling called to expandind into other topics that speak to the whole of us...or the very least, more of us. These topics include our connection to ourselves, our connection to the earth, the healing of our families and intimate relationships, the systems in our society that lead to pain and stress in our lives, and more.
Some form of evolution is always happening. And as it's happening within me, I'm wanting the work or inspiration I offer to reflect that expansion as well.
I'm grateful to you for being on this journe ..read more

You don't have to smile. You don't.
I've been sitting with what it would be like to have a world where we can each show up with all the emotions that are present with us—showing up with the grief, the regret, the fear, the frustration—without feeling the need to "fix" yourself or those emotions before being in the room again.
This episode explores the cultural patterns that train us into smiling for the camera even when we don't feel like it and dreams up a new way of being with the emotions that are authentic in each moment.

Today’s episode is about permission and grace. If you’re a mom/parent to angel babies, I encourage you to really give yourself the permission to do whatever supports your energy around this time. I also share how I respond when I’m asked if I’m a mother.
And if you’re currently parenting or caretaking kiddos who are physically here, I shed light on the lie that we need to strive to be perfect mothers or parents. Perfection doesn’t exist. It doesn’t. Being able to surrender to the messiness, the madness, the beauty, the creativity, the unpredictability…of life and parenting offers a kind ..read more

Today’s episode is a prayer, an invitation to soften, to be gentle with yourself.
There’s sometimes the belief–even if unconscious–that softening might transform someone into becoming weak or diminish their ability to be resilient. I’ve observed and experienced the opposite: that it’s ignoring the body’s invitation to soften that eventually leads to shut down and disconnection. The softening, the exhale…creates the opening.
I invite you to receive today’s invitation if it resonates.

I used to think that my healing journey needed to look a certain way and have a definite outcome. That eventually--no matter how long it took--I needed to rise out of the ashes like a phoenix then tell the world about it.
Sitting with the realness of my unpredictable, and sometimes messy healing journey has taught me that there is no model for what healing should look like. You are an original. Your journey will be a unique one. And by releasing the expectations around who you ought to become and by when that needs to happen, perhaps that creates room for some unexpected, imperfect beaut ..read more
