I drive Uber/Lyft in a major American city. You may have seen some of the videos of drivers getting robbed, assaulted, kidnapped, killed, etc. by passengers. In the videos I've seen, it goes down with someone in the back, usually directly behind the driver, putting a gun to the driver's head and making demands from there. Several years ago, while we were in CA, my wife would walk around the big block encompassing our neighborhood early in the morning before he got hot.
