In the latest of roster moves to be announced during the current Major League Soccer primary transfer window, Real Salt Lake has signed 19-year-old MF Moses Nyeman via loan from SK Beveren (Belgian A2) through the 2023 calendar year, with an option to purchase, the Utah-based Club announced. Ilijah Paul isn’t your usual homegrown. Technically, he’s not a Homegrown, at all. Sure, the Real Salt Lake rookie left his home to play for the RSL Academy at age 16. But Paul, who also played for Valparaiso United, Barca Academy and Phoenix Academy in Arizona, never spent 12 consecutive months with the academy now based in Herriman before his 18th birthday.
