My skin is severely dehydrated after overusing salicylic acid (which my skin hated). I also have extremely sensitive skin and react to nearly all acids and fragrance. The problem is that my skin is also very acne prone in the form of clogged pores and any richer creams usually break me out for example cerave hydrating moisturizer. I now use a lotion for very dry skin called propyless with a pretty high concentration of propylene glycol in it but sometimes it feels more drying than hydrating. Have anyone found a moisturizer for similar skin that works? Because I just tried a moisturizer with m ..read more

I bought the timeless 20% vitamin c + e ferulic acid serum a couple weeks ago and every time I use it, I get whiteheads. Is there any products that have antioxidant benefits and also increase collagen production? Also looking for an ascorbic acid products that are good for acne prone skin.

Currently dealing with the aftermath of a break out. Psychologically it is beating me up and emotionally draining…. I’m currently always in the mirror, looking at myself from different angles and different distances. Be honest, did I mess up my face? I’m starting business school in a few months and this is the last thing I wanted to deal with… would any of you consider this permanent?
Two weeks ago I went to the aesthetician she did extractions on these areas, and I got a perfect derma peel.

I love Eucerin Oil control spf 50 because it doesn't leave my oily skin looking shiny.
Only problem is I'm starting to break out when I use it. Only a couple of small spots but still annoying.
Can any one recommend an spf that doesn't break them out and also doesn't look shiny?

Hi! I’m 27(F) and have never done anything in the name of skin care except use a face wash. I would like to start doing some kind of skin routine but I’m not sure where to begin. Could any of you suggest something for me to start with?
I have oily skin and no acne issues.
Thanks!!

I struggle a lot with acne scars, small bumps and redness on my cheeks. Generally textured skin.
Right now I’m trying to fix my skincare routine. My current routine is Cerave Foaming cleanser -> The Ordinary lactic acid -> Basiron 5% gel. I just got The Ordinary Niacinamide.
After getting some advice on here, I was wondering if this would work okay?
I’d switch between using these every two days so I don’t use the same products every day. Also sunscreen every morning.

I did have acne prone skin with mostly acne scars, but now I’m getting more and more cystic acne on my cheeks and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. My skincare routine is fine, I’m not using any pore clogging skincare, and I change my pillow sheets once a week. Someone recommended I start oral treatment but I don’t know what to use. Any suggestions is appreciated.

So I currently use CeraVe cleanser (green bottle) and CeraVe PM moisturizer twice a day with Differin every other day. How can I get rid of these noticeable pores and holes on my cheeks and nose?!
