It was president's day, and we traveled to uptown Manhattan to experience the vibes. Though the snow blanketed the city with a colorless white, we found colorful icons and imagery of presidents, history, and political messages—we were searching for the truth and emotions beyond all the snow.

Mortgage backed loans created a black hole in our economy. Its financial gravity was so dense, that it ripped through our network of trust. Predatory lenders leveraged these loans against the disenfranchised, bankrupting the masses. Loans were too much of a burden and Wall Street bankers knew this.

While touring the financial district during the second week of February, we traversed across the cold, ice laden streets, under the rows of of colossal modern-eques corporate buildings and upscale residentials. Sloshing around the ice, we came across the artwork and vibes that tourists miss. We saw a vibrant and a diverse pallet of colors emphasizing love, equity, and beauty, contrasting with the starkness of the cold, lifeless winter scene. While taking a taxi during the 70s, Glaser Milton had an epiphany that sparked the creation of the classic "I Love NY" logo. The ubiquitous t-shirt, found in a variety of souvenir shops and tourist hot spots across the city, is made with a unique design that is far reaching. The logo comprises of upper case characters crafted in rounded slab American Typewriter with a recognizable red heart. The image represents the bold characters found all over the city from the subway performer, street food vendors, to the wall street banker who have to deal with the grit and grime of the city.
