Hello everyone at REI.com I read today the information about the closure of Conversations. And am VERY sad, disgusted, etc. I am european and live in europe. And here we have many outdoor portals, forums and information exchange places. But we don't have a good one like Conversations at rei.com. So far I have used Conversations to read entries from other users. I purchased Bondi 7 from REI in Boulder on June 16, 2022.  They are too narrow and hurt my feet.  I have worn them once. As a photographer, of all my adventures backpacking, mountaineering  snowboarder, I must say one of the most magical discoveries occurred near the summit of 14,165 ft Mt. Shasta. I know that many folks are here because a) they love the outdoors, sharing their experiences with others and learning from others doing the same and b) prefer to avoid traditional social media platforms for one reason or the other.  When Conversations goes away, we'll lose that.  There have been some other similar projects that have popped up and I've started a thread to track those and would love for y'all to update that post with any that you're aware of if you'd like.
