Are there any fans of Season 1 who also like Season 2? I loved S1 and want to watch S2 but notice the IMDb ratings for S2 are way lower (of course that’s not definitive proof of it being worse)

I know it was just a short part of it but I thought it was really well done, it definitely was an interesting take on low gravity combat (zero gravity combat has obviously been done a lot)
Are there any other movies that do this particular really well?

My girlfriend doesn't know anything about Star Trek and is up for trying a few episodes. What's the best intro episodes?
I feel like I'm too close to it to know what someone unfamiliar with it would like.
Starting off with TNG Encounter at Farpoint seems like a decent approach but S1 and S2 seem so iffy and I'm not sure if Farpoint has that issue too (but I'm too close to it to see it the jank).

We actually live very far in what I would perceive to be the future, the year is not 2024, I have been lied too since birth. Everyone has advanced neuralinks and can communicate through that method. Its not magic, just advanced technology/science. Society is structured very differently than what I have been told.
I do have a neuralink but its function is intentionally very limited and I can’t read others thoughts (most of the time) but others can read mine, as I am part of a very long, probably non consenting clinical trial that involves how a human reacts to being raised from birth in a soci ..read more

Title explains itself. Are there any good sci-fi books with human-alien relations? Preferably tailored to the perspective of a male reader (without being very male gaze-y, yknow?) Any suggestions are appreciated! Thank you!
