I remember being pissed when it was announced that Action and Detective would not see their 1000th issues, due to the New 52 reboot. I know Snyder was writing Detective, but are there collections for those final stories? Batman too? I bought the floppies for Superman and Action a few years ago, but I’ve now decided to finish the original Batman/Detective runs. Am I better off with floppies here too? Just read Dark Prisons and also read up a bit on Failsafe. So Failsafe is an android set to activate in the case Batman ever started killing people, and he was created by a 'pure Batman' personality within Bruce called Zur-En-Arrh. So from what I gather, Zur-En-Arrh somehow transferred his consciousness within Failsafe, who is now running around thinking it's 'the true Batman'. So my question is..... what happened to the personality within Bruce? I mean.... has Zur-En-Arrh been expunged from his brain or something? Hi friends. So, I dropped Batman shortly into Tynions run to focus on other books. So I’ve missed quite a bit. But wanting to get back to reading Batman. Am I missing anything if I decide to skip over Tynion and Williamsons run and go right into Zdarsky? Missing anything cool or important for me to understand the current run? Also, I’ve never read anything of Zdarksky’s before. He obviously has a great reputation, but some of these popular writers, I cannot comprehend their writing style (like Keron Gillen for example). Years ago I found a copy of what I thought was The Greatest Joker Stories Ever Told but it had a story in it that doesn't appear to be in any other copy I've been able to find. It's a story from Alan Davis and Mark Farmer and has the Joker hypnotize Catwoman into attacking Batman. I think it was published in 1986. Am I crazy? Am I thinking of the wrong book?
