President Grant Cornwell has declared today as “Fox Day” at Rollins College. Fox Day is one of the private school’s most beloved traditions and it was established in 1956 by Rollins’ 10th president, Hugh McKean. Each spring, on a day deemed “too pretty to have class,” the president cancels all classes for the College of Liberal Arts, providing undergraduate students and staff with a surprise day off. We told you HERE in August 2023 that the warehouse housing  Quantum Leap Winery (Facebook | Website) in Mills 50 had been put up for sale, and according to the wine hub’s social media, it’s finally time for them to find a new home. New owners purchased the property later that same month for an estimated $3.9 million, according to the Orange County Property Appraiser website. The Ravenous Pig (Instagram | Website) in Winter Park launched an ambitious renovation last June that was expected to last just the summer but almost one full year later, the work has finally been completed. The Michelin-recognized restaurant was almost completely redone by South Florida design firm, Anna Woodman Interior Design and Blankenship Architects. The Orlando Solar Bears (Website) have secured a spot in the 2024 Kelly Cup Playoffs with a 1-0 win over the Reading Royals late Saturday evening. The Solar Bears will compete for the best-of-seven in the South Division Semifinals, with Orlando opening the 2024 playoffs.
