My furbaby Nemo got surgery on his R knee today for a torn ACL. I'm so relieved and thankful the surgery/anesthesia went well, and he's now recovering overnight in the hospital. My 14.5 years old Maltese girl Tezza refused to eat for more than 2 days. One morning she woke up arching her back a lot, we rushed her to the vet and the blood work showed that she has stage 3/4 Kidney failure. Our family is overjoyed to announce the arrival of our new furry family member Teddy! We picked up Teddy, a purebred Maltese (from show parents), from a breeder in Phoenix 3-weeks ago and he seems to be adjusting very well overall. Henry has getting matted SO easily here lately and his hair is becoming wavy. Could his hair be getting wavy since his hair is growing out from his cut? I wish I never cut him! I think he looks so scrappy right now due to the fact that his coat is growing back in. Would this also result in the matting? The maltese i always wanted. Carole’s Classy. A true lap dog. She sat on my lap for hours after Maxie. Died. Carole was a gem. She gave one of her pups to an employee who never thought she could have a “real” maltese. She comforted me after my 16 yr old Maxi died in 1999. Kitzel is not doing well w/a bad night last night. I had to put him in the baby bed to keep him from thrashing all over me or licking my skin. He was crazy. He has a battery of tests coming up on Tuesday & I DREAD taking him to the hospital where he last saw Lisi.
