If Birmingham get relegated I wouldn't be against a cheeky bid for Bielik. Always liked him as a player but suffered badly with injuries for a couple of years. Appears to be over that this season.
Would give us some much needed presence in the midfield. Does the dirty work but also a very good progressive passer of the ball which would allow Arblaster and Hamer to roam forward a bit more. Can't imagine that he would break the bank as Birmingham would need him off the wage bill for League...

Just wondering how we should celebrate conceding the 100th and 101st Premier League goal? It’s a premier league record we’ll likely hold for some time ..read more

The Prince never seems to show any leadership or acknowledgement to our situation ?. Things are happening OFF the pitch and of course ON the pitch it's a disaster !. Is he frightened of Radio Sheff's questions ? surely they can't be worse than what he gets from TalkSport etc. ? . He could clear things up ie. Does he think Hecky & Wilder could have done better with the crap signings and injury woes . Has he got a plan going forward ? , perhaps he could give us a Churchillian ... we will...

Now we're relegated, performances in the remaining matches are immaterial. So who's your player of the season?
I've omitted Diaz as he's only made 11 appearances, shame he was out injured for a month ..read more

I know we will all have our opinions but I wonder if they would consider doing this early?
If it is to be farewell to Basham, Baldock, Norwood for instance and even McBurnie or Osborn, they have been with us through a memorable period.
It would be nice to be able to say goodbye in front of the fans. I know this was a bit of a gripe with Billy. He kind of had an idea at the Town Hall but there will be no such occasion this time around ..read more

Evening Blades, hope you're well.
West Ham fan here - but first things first, I come in peace
For a bit of fun I've got a Trivia question for any knowledgeable Utd fans of a certain age.
I was listening to a board meeting at my workplace this week (they stream them for all employees).
One of the execs gave a short intro about himself... During which time he revealed he used to play for Sheffield United!
Now I was doubtful of this. It felt a strange fit.
However... he was not...

It’s the 11th March 2028. And 17th placed Leicester City, managed by veteran David Moyes host 20th placed Sheffield United, still managed by Wilder and 6 points from safety with 3 wins in 26. Some may say it’s a premier league six pointer, but many beg to differ as the gap is once again too big.
The Blades unfortunately, still have some dead wood in the team *pictures to scale, as no cunt wants to join the team in fear of ruining their career. Therefore they had no choice but to keep hold...

Looking up details of the career of the late Jim Iley, I noticed in the United Who's Who a comment suggesting that he was sold in 1957 at a time when United needed money for new floodlights. There are obvious parallels with recent ground developments, and I was too young to be aware of conspiracy theories at the time, but I don't see how this fits in with what happened around then. United got floodlights in March 1954, and then replaced them in December 1961. Did the money from the sale of...
