I used to do the autoclock feature on my 7700x and it would OC up to 5.5ghz, but now for some reason I did it again and I am only hitting 5.1ghz at most h ow can I boost it back to the 5.5? When just operating normal I use Core temp to look at my frequency and see occassional spiokes up to 5.499ghz. but when running cinibench it tops out at 5.1ghz. my mobo is MSI b650 tomahawk ..read more

Has ASUS Auto Tune given me a safe OC?

I recently build my first "from scratch" gaming build, and I wanted to overclock it a little bit. However, I know VERY little about doing an overclock. All I know is to never go over 1.4V on the CPU Vcore voltage, avoid CPU temperatures of over 85C, and play with the multiplier and base-clock until the preferred OC is achieved. After each tweak/change, run Prime95 for at least an hour (24hr preferred) to check stability. But instead, I took the easier route, and used my ASUS board's Auto Tuning feature (the "Fast" option, not "Extreme"). It was successful, and its given me a 24% CPU boost, an ..read more

I’ve tried manually changing the speed incrementally and I can get the system to start up to 4800mhz, but it’s unstable and my system starts to blue screen. I’ve never had this ..read more

Setting the ram XMP profile causes games to crash and be unplayable

I've had my pc for some time but I've only turned the ram's XMP on recently, and my game's (only tried dragon's dogma 2) started crashing after only a minute of play and it was unplayable. It has two xmp profiles, one is the advertised 6000 MHz and the other is at 5600, the second lower speed setting seems to work and both seemed to improve my fps in town, but I didn't do any proper fps tests. Anyone know why this might be happening? I've never had issues turning xmp on. The ram is "TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000" and the mobo is a b760m gaming plus wifi. Also here are ..read more
